The supporters of Barrilete Cósmico FC booed when Berni y Benja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Kärim Benzine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Işık Günay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Işık Günay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roman Hibai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Işık Günay came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Berni y Benja FC's Olle Carlsson. But to his dismay, Olle Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 84th minute, Zheng Jing Feng left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barrilete Cósmico FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. If Zheng Jing Feng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berni y Benja FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
