Leopoldo Lastur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Arce, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Martin Asier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Asier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Videl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leones FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Berni y Benja FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dante Mannie took the corner. In the 29th minute, Kärim Benzine ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lastur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Carlsson in the 33rd minute of play. Kärim Benzine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Leopoldo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Asier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Berni y Benja FC's Doğuhan Işıklar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Doğuhan Işıklar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Berni y Benja FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doğuhan Işıklar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Berni y Benja FC:s Amancio Videl showed great skill when he stopped Dante Mannie:s penalty. Olle Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leopoldo Lastur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Olle Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When Olle Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Berni y Benja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olle Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Berni y Benja FC's Norberto Fero was substituted for Ramiro Sanson. The supporters of Berni y Benja FC booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Martin Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Leopoldo Lastur managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Berni y Benja FC's Olle Carlsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Leopoldo Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olle Carlsson in the 86th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Berni y Benja FC's Kärim Benzine slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo Lastur. That made the score 0-3 after 95 minutes of play.
