The Liberland fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Liberland's Edgar Jakubiak looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 35 minutes Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Enrique Nikola who took care of the corner kick. Edgar Jakubiak in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mala Kicia in the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Jakubiak got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Jakubiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led Liberland's Mariano Caetano to fire away a dangerous shot which Victoriano Bernaldo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Mariano Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liberland's Omar Eudoxio was substituted for German Playo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Jakubiak in the 79th minute of play forced Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
