With a little luck, Napoleón 2018's Edmílson Veloso got control of the ball when Darryl Buckner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vasile Tufescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edmílson Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Ni Chuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napoleón 2018's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep Colonia Avellaneda the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Darryl Buckner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmílson Veloso having to make a save. In the 65th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmílson Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94thth minute of the game Saturnino Johans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Napoleón 2018 fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Napoleón 2018's Saturnino Johans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
