The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Boris Kerth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Arnau in the 7th minute of the match. Kirk Fitriansyah hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Mish Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Transito came free, but Boris Kerth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Golosos were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Mish Fútbol Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serafin Leguizamón took the corner. Aquilino Arnau was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Boris Kerth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Orain in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Mish Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Kirk Fitriansyah. When Los Golosos's Nicolas Estevez in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Mish Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Kerth should have stopped the shot. If Adrian Transito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Los Golosos's Maximo Orain in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mish Fútbol Club's goalie prevented a goal. After 40 minutes of play, Los Golosos's Han Xiang Ang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boris Kerth was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Serafin Leguizamón notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mish Fútbol Club's Boris Kerth. Boris Kerth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 0-4 became the score in the 47th minute when Maximo Orain elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Los Golosos were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erik Ljusberg to make the kick off. With a little luck, Mish Fútbol Club's Boris Kerth got control of the ball when Adrian Transito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Los Golosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Ubarna to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Nicolas Estevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boris Kerth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ronaldo Fitriansyah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Silvestre Vilalobos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Los Golosos booed when Mish Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hastomo Fitriansyah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Transito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Boris Kerth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Estevez in the 69th minute of play forced Mish Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Boris Kerth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Kerth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Han Xiang Ang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Kerth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Orain, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Christian Bakar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boris Kerth quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Serafin Leguizamón was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th minute Erik Ljusberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Vilalobos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Mish Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Estevez came free, but Boris Kerth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mish Fútbol Club defense, Nicolas Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Boris Kerth. The Mish Fútbol Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Boris Kerth should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Estevez in the 94th minute of play forced Mish Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Boris Kerth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Los Golosos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mish Fútbol Club throughout the match.
