Adrian Transitos short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Rene Eduino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Estevez was the one to do the kick off. Silvestre Vilalobos made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Edgar Jakubiak sent off a good shot on target. 65 minutes into the game, Los Golosos's Adrian Transito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Eduino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Transito in the 69th managed to get into a good position. In the 73rd minute Nicolas Estevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Eduino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mala Kicia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Los Golosos made a substitution. Moises Tuste replaced Aquilino Arnau. Mariano Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Mariano Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicolas Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Los Golosos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Estevez couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Ascencio took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Eduino. Rene Eduino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.
