In the 39th minute of the match Estudiantes de América got a corner. LosAndes666's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Szymon Pilitowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. 杜迪 tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Cecilio Gonza. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-3 in the 39th minute. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Iyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Cecilio Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Estudiantes de América were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kraig Fred made a kick off. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Perrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. 53 minutes into the match, LosAndes666's goalkeeper Cecilio Gonza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kraig Fred. After 64 played minutes LosAndes666 got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Mimica. Orlando Beltza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Cecilio Gonza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cecilio Gonza made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Concetto Trasatti sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez managed to get in a good position for a shot. LosAndes666's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo-Nicolás Pérez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Ranolfo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cecilio Gonza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Blăniță in the 81st minute of play.
