Carlos Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 12 minutes into the match, Oshyros ll's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Pero came free, but Fumo Pocock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Isaac Intxixu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlos Montenegro. Isaac Intxixu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Carlos Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 龚辉适 in the 17th minute of play. If Ernest Ponta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ZAFIRO FC's Carlos Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Andrejević in the 23rd minute of play. Isaac Intxixu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Carlos Montenegro made a huge save. Carlos Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Andrejević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZAFIRO FC's Carlos Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save ZAFIRO FC from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Sten Andrejević cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Carlos Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice moves Djamel Autret could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Carlos Montenegro however easily saved by the left post. Sten Andrejević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marco Pero during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marco Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. ZAFIRO FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sten Andrejević 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Carlos Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Intxixu in the 54th minute of the match. Isaac Intxixu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Montenegro having to interfere. Bernardo Firmo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Oshyros ll's François Marotte was substituted for Isaac Intxixu. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by ZAFIRO FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leandro Lucado was slow to take the kick. During this time Oshyros ll's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sten Andrejević in the 70th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Oshyros ll got a freekick which was hit by 龚辉适. In the 80th minute Djamel Autret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from François Marotte in the 85th minute of the match. Carlos Montenegro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Djamel Autret went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the ZAFIRO FC defense, Djamel Autret kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Montenegro. The ZAFIRO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Montenegro should have stopped the shot. Carlos Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Andrejević, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 96 minutes into the match, ZAFIRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Carlos Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ZAFIRO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
