In the 8th minute, Edmundo Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Tadzio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 14th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Playmobil FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edmundo Mendes hit a great ball. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Mendes in the 19th minute of play. Placido Garin kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Mendes in the 21st minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Edmundo Mendes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Edmundo Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Tadzio. In the 36th minute of the match Los Playmobil FC got a corner. Academia 1903's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Lauren ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ildefonso Platini hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Mendes in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Los Playmobil FC fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Los Playmobil FC's Edmundo Mendes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute Los Playmobil FC were awarded a corner. Cipriano Lauren went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Los Playmobil FC's José Chamot got a free kick in the 48th minute. 49 minutes into the match, Los Playmobil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Hermelando came free, but Borys Patora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Mendes made a kick off. Edmundo Mendes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Fidel Tadzio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edmundo Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Tadzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57thth minute of the game Edmundo Mendes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Ove Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cipriano Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Lauren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Tadzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Edmundo Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Tadzio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundo Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fidel Tadzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Mendes in the 67th minute of the match.
