Lino Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Orlando Silvino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nestor Bâru in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lino Lidon saved Temperley from getting behind. Temperley's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nestor Bâru scored to the left of an out of position Lino Lidon, making the score, 2-0. Hermengildo Orkatz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Venancio Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes Unidad de Matanza's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ramon Bittor who took care of the corner kick. Nestor Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Lino Lidon made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Bâru in the 29th minute of play forced Temperley's goalkeeper Lino Lidon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Lidon made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Nestor Bâru sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Bâru struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lino Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. When Nestor Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Bâru couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Nesto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot by Waldemar Okopny from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Lino Lidon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Nestor Bâru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Lino Lidon made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Nestor Bâru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Bâru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Lidon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Nestor Bâru made the kick off in the second half. Yannick Bartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Bâru struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Lino Lidon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lino Lidon should have stopped the shot. Lino Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maarten Aelbrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Maarten Aelbrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Lidon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Máximo Kirchner in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Lidon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes of play, Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lino Lidon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten Aelbrecht came free, but Lino Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Lidon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Máximo Kirchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ildefonso Richie got free with Venancio Cristofol in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Lidon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Michal Stehno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lino Lidon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 82 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Stehno came free, but Lino Lidon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Temperley's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar Okopny took the corner. Temperley's Lino Lidon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stehno in the 86th minute of play. Lino Lidon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner in the 87th minute of play. Lino Lidon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Kirchner, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
