The supporters of Tigres Ñacuñán FC booed when Nippur de Lagash 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Lehen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andres Pitin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Tito Chayo made a huge save. Nippur de Lagash 2's attentive Benjamin Navarro managed to snatch the ball when Baldomiro Ireno made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Sinan Okergun in the 24th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tito Chayo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Nippur de Lagash 2 through an amazing save. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andres Pitin in the 25th minute. Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Andres Pitin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tito Chayo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Casimiro Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cordarell came free, but Eloy Mazuste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Christian Bergqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Chayo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Casimiro Cordarell took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Mazuste. Eloy Mazuste dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The throw-in from Baldomiro Ireno in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Cordarell in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eloy Mazuste saved Tigres Ñacuñán FC from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Christian Bergqvist made the kick off in the second half. Tito Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sinan Okergun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, Andres Pitin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tito Chayo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sinan Okergun in the 78th minute of play. After 78 minutes of play, Tigres Ñacuñán FC's Sinan Okergun made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tito Chayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash 2's Bartolo De Mitri got a free kick in the 80th minute. Nippur de Lagash 2's Virgilio Emenon was substituted for Gavino De Mitri. A collision led to Nippur de Lagash 2 getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bartolo De Mitri hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Baldomiro Ireno in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro. Casimiro Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Eloy Mazuste didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nippur de Lagash 2. Eloy Mazuste was a little too slow when Segundo Oro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 3-2. In the 91st minute Christian Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tito Chayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Bergqvist in the 92nd minute of play forced Nippur de Lagash 2's goalkeeper Tito Chayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Mazuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Oro in the 93rd minute. When the referee ended the match the Tigres Ñacuñán FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
