In the 13th minute of the match Paladar Negro FC got a corner. Profecías de Parravicini's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejandro Anaya ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Nayely in the 15th minute of play forced Profecías de Parravicini's goalkeeper Santo Tohias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Profecías de Parravicini's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Anaya was slow to take the kick. During this time Paladar Negro FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Pastor Admon got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 18 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes of play, Paladar Negro FC's Enrique Nayely made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Tohias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enrique Gumaro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. When Jeronimo Demario came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Paladar Negro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Demario couldn't finish the play. Santo Tohias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Jaizki in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Paladar Negro FC's Abel Ursini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Santo Tohias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Abel Ursini sped through Profecías de Parravicini's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Santo Tohias. If Abel Ursini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Edur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Desiderio Servando. After the first half Paladar Negro FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Ursini to make the kick off. Santo Tohias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustino Jaizki in the 52nd minute. Faustino Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Santo Tohias made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Qu Song Xi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santo Tohias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Faustino Jaizki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Santo Tohias came out and tried to block the shot, but Faustino Jaizki slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 70th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Abel Ursini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Profecías de Parravicini's Santo Tohias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goalkeeper Santo Tohias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustino Jaizki. Enrique Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Santo Tohias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Froilan Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santo Tohias was a little too slow when Jeronimo Demario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 0-9. The audience was convinced that Guillermo Gay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Tohias was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Profecías de Parravicini's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Gay came free, but Santo Tohias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillermo Gay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Tohias having to interfere. Paladar Negro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
