In the 9th minute of the game Rosendo Berto made a throw-in which Federico Ralondo played forward. Luis Vázquez struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Fabio Lordi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. In the 16th minute, Luis Vázquez made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Lordi. Villa Lourdes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa Lourdes FC's goalkeeper Fabio Lordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Luis Vázquez sped through Villa Lourdes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Lordi. After 27 played minutes Luganeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Sayvion. Rosendo Berto's late challenge caught a Luganeros AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rosendo Berto helped the player get up and apologised. If Luis Vázquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Vázquez in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Everardo Honrio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Luganeros AFC booed when Villa Lourdes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villa Lourdes FC's Fabio Lordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vázquez in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Dominic Pastor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Dominic Pastor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Porfiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fabio Lordi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yu Quan Di in the 72nd minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Lordi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luganeros AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Blas Oihenarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Lourdes FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Luganeros AFC's goalie and right to Bhadrayu Sethi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Luganeros AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Timoteo Procopio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Villa Lourdes FC's Paulino Valiente in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luganeros AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Porfiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Valiente in the 97th minute of the match. Luganeros AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
