Primitivo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ceballos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Vilo Futbol Club:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palermo AFC:s goal. Primitivo Jeraldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Hernando in the 16th minute of the match. Rodrigo Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Emeterio having to make a save. Rodrigo Bautista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fabian Emeterio made a huge save. Fabio Hernando took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Jeraldo. Primitivo Jeraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute Ezequiel Ceballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Jeraldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Alvaro Castel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Primitivo Jeraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Castel in the 29th minute of play. Rodrigo Bautista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vilo Futbol Club booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Udalaitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. But to his dismay, Fabio Hernando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, Vilo Futbol Club's Fabio Hernando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Primitivo Jeraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute Rodrigo Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Emeterio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A well-hit corner resulted in Alvaro Patxi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With an all-out effort, Vilo Futbol Club's Primitivo Jeraldo threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvaro Castel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Palermo AFC's Jesus Dalmu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vilo Futbol Club played a much better game than Palermo AFC and deserved their victory. The Palermo AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
