LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Efraín Zercalde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Jenaro in the 3rd minute of play. Damian Posadzki was slow to take the kick. During this time LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Arkadiusz Logewnik to fire away a dangerous shot which Cedrick Francoeur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo Tinoco in the 15th minute of play forced LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's goalkeeper Efraín Zercalde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efraín Zercalde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Tinoco in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Johannes Viitakoski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Efraín Zercalde. Efraín Zercalde was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to FC Catalonia getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LIRA ELBLĄG SSA reached it. Efraín Zercalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Viitakoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Wielkopolski in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efraín Zercalde saved LIRA ELBLĄG SSA from getting behind. After the first half FC Catalonia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Abecia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Segundo Abecia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cedrick Francoeur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute of the match, Arlindo Tinoco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Efraín Zercalde was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Efraín Zercalde made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Angelo Jenaro sent off a good shot on target. Cedrick Francoeur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Kalemba, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Segundo Abecia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angelo Jenaro got free with Efraín Zercalde in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Efraín Zercalde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogumil Byczewski in the 71st minute of the match. After 77 minutes LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobiasz Serwacki who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Bogdan Nazaria got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Bogumil Byczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Efraín Zercalde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save LIRA ELBLĄG SSA from getting a goal against them. Cedrick Francoeur didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when LIRA ELBLĄG SSA's Segundo Abecia shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute.
