Olgierd Kaczanka was slow to take the kick. During this time Brunatni Bełchatów's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Zachary Piechocki managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Pilarski in the 13th minute of the match. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Zdrojowy in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Brunatni Bełchatów's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Armstrong came free, but Sonny Ahlerot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Zdrojowy in the 19th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baycan Tura in the 22nd minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Radomir Zdrojowy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sonny Ahlerot. Brunatni Bełchatów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radomir Zdrojowy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 34th minute, Krzysztof Majtyka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute of the match, Gwidon Tomaka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Antoni Piesciuk was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Baycan Tura scored 0-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sonny Ahlerot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antoni Piesciuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Niewiadomski, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Czeberowski in the 48th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half KP Brzeg Dolny were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gwidon Tomaka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Tomaka scored 1-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antoni Piesciuk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute Waclaw Sitko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Piesciuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, KP Brzeg Dolny's Sonny Ahlerot threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabian Czeberowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Armstrong in the 65th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ahlerot made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Baycan Tura sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antoni Gizynski during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Brunatni Bełchatów's Antoni Gizynski got a free kick in the 70th minute. Baycan Tura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sonny Ahlerot made a huge save. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baycan Tura in the 78th minute of the match. KP Brzeg Dolny's Stuart Armstrong was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Brunatni Bełchatów's zone, Stuart Armstrong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sonny Ahlerot came out of the goal and Stuart Armstrong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, KP Brzeg Dolny's Stuart Armstrong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sonny Ahlerot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baycan Tura in the 88th minute of play. Sonny Ahlerot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiktor Kilian in the 93rd minute. Baycan Tura hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KP Brzeg Dolny walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
