Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Marut in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loramendi Valdivia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Piotrków Trybunalski's Aureliusz Nowak got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klement Marut made a kick off. Dariusz Nakoneczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ferdinand Thurø made a huge save.
