After some careless play in the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A defense, Artur Juchno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Franciszek Mlekodaj. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Franciszek Mlekodaj should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Juchno in the 7th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Franciszek Mlekodaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Felix Anmerker got control of the ball when Gianluca Scamacca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Anmerker stood somewhat misplaced when Slawomir Wojciechowski came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 15 minute. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when KSF Racovia Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Wallach didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Wincenty Bierfass threw the ball into play from the sideline. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Rafal Mondrowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Eddie Majman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Franciszek Mlekodaj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gianluca Scamacca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Franciszek Mlekodaj came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Artur Juchno. But to his dismay, Artur Juchno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 33rd minute Artur Juchno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franciszek Mlekodaj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Artur Juchno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artur Juchno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Juchno in the 45th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Franciszek Mlekodaj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Slawomir Wojciechowski was the one to do the kick off. Felix Anmerker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Wojciechowski in the 51st minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Franciszek Mlekodaj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Majman. Artur Juchno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Franciszek Mlekodaj made a huge save. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddie Majman was slow to take the kick. During this time KSF Racovia Częstochowa's players had a chance to rest. Felix Anmerker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Scamacca's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The audience was convinced that Slawomir Wojciechowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Anmerker was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Franciszek Mlekodaj was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Artur Juchno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artur Juchno really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Artur Juchno managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Juchno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Mlekodaj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's zone, Artur Juchno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franciszek Mlekodaj came out of the goal and Artur Juchno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 minutes, Holger Karlsson made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's Felix Anmerker tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
