But to his dismay, Wiktor Falkiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Kania Gostyń's Wiktor Falkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erez Manco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wiktor Falkiewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erez Manco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wiktor Falkiewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Erez Manco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiktor Falkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. If Klement Rzeszutko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, KS Ruch Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Falkiewicz came free, but Erez Manco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
