Augusto Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobiasz Gniech, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dominik Spychalski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Kacper Tobias made a huge save. A collision led to FC Alkomaty getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Szczepan Turak hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Alkomaty's Dominik Spychalski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kacper Tobias. That made the score 1-1 after 32 minutes of play. In the 38th minute, FC Alkomaty's Dominik Spychalski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kacper Tobias. Kacper Tobias yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominik Spychalski was the one to do the kick off.
