In the 16th minute, Stal Sanok's Ari Hakanpää dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ari Hakanpää could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Robert Kaczanka made a huge save. Wyszyny's Robert Kaczanka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Antoniu in the 30th minute of play. Stal Sanok's Sune Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Kisielka in the 36th minute of play. Ludomir Serwacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cihat Cevval could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Robert Kaczanka made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Wyszyny's Marian Hendzel was substituted for Igor Kapelski. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cihat Cevval was the one to do the kick off. Miroslaw Kisielka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robert Kaczanka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihat Cevval in the 57th minute of play forced Wyszyny's goalkeeper Robert Kaczanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Stal Sanok's Ari Hakanpää sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Kaczanka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 81st minute Boleslaw Dres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Kaczanka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacek Kocieniewski got free with Sune Rudberg in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 84 minutes into the game, Wyszyny's Ludomir Serwacki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sune Rudberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Ludomir Serwacki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Sune Rudberg made a huge save. Wyszyny were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Stal Sanok's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacek Kocieniewski took the corner. Robert Kaczanka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Antoniu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
