The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Soczewki Gliwice's Tomasz Sobania made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Przemyslaw Winnicki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henk Cardinaal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Tomasz Sobania took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Przemyslaw Winnicki to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henk Cardinaal got free with Przemyslaw Winnicki in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Zula Jandryca notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki. Damazy Kensicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soczewki Gliwice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Lipinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Skrwa Sikórz's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Skrwa Sikórz's Dawid Lipinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Damazy Kensicki despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Damazy Kensicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Czysty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomasz Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomasz Sobania got free with Przemyslaw Winnicki in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the match, Skrwa Sikórz's Sufi Kutsan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damazy Kensicki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sufi Kutsan in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zula Jandryca in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damazy Kensicki saved Soczewki Gliwice from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Zula Jandryca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damazy Kensicki. Soczewki Gliwice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zula Jandryca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Tomasz Sobania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Tomasz Sobania made the kick off in the second half. If Tomasz Sobania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Przemyslaw Winnicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Sobania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Skrwa Sikórz's Lu Chuan Jun got a free kick in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Soczewki Gliwice's Herman Källberg got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jesus Frisco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Sobania in the 71st minute of play forced Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Winnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Soczewki Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elmar Roorda to maneuver through the defense. Przemyslaw Winnicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomasz Sobania's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henk Cardinaal in the 78th minute of play forced Skrwa Sikórz's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Winnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes in the game Herman Källberg did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Elmar Roorda. Tomasz Sobania struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Przemyslaw Winnicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soczewki Gliwice. After 94 played minutes Soczewki Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Mister Rio. The Soczewki Gliwice support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
