After some careless play in the FC Gdansk36 defense, Claudio Caniglia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adam Matysek. The FC Gdansk36 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adam Matysek should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Peter-Michael Schmeichel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Janusze Futbolu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Piotr Kozlowski scored to the left of an out of position Peter-Michael Schmeichel, making the score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Caniglia to strike the kick off in the second half. Adam Matysek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute.
