The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domingos Peruanton the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The White Star WK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domingos Peruanton had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of The White Star WK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Legia Warszawa:s goal. Zenon Pleban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Canor in the 16th minute of play. The White Star WK were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Legia Warszawa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmund Kiszkiel took the corner. The White Star WK's Robert-Jan Mac Donald was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zenon Pleban in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 21 minutes into the game, Oso Biñuela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zenon Pleban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Legia Warszawa's Leszek Podwojski in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Qiu Yang made a great header on Legia Warszawa's corner, it was just that The White Star WK's Radomir Pryputnicki managed to reach the ball for a save. Camilo Canor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Edmund Kiszkiel was slow to take the kick. During this time The White Star WK's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ludomil Kilarski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zenon Pleban quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind The White Star WK's goalkeeper Radomir Pryputnicki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ignacy Marosz kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Qiu Yang struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Radomir Pryputnicki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Legia Warszawa. The White Star WK's Radomir Pryputnicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save The White Star WK from getting a goal against them.
