The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 3 minutes into the game, one of RealMadrid Club de Fútbol:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luís Leme had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Fernandez Pizaño's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Fernandez Pizaño had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Leme. RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandez Pizaño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's Jaak Mur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğit Pekiner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. TEATRomaniacy were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sune Åkesson took the corner. After taking down the ball on TEATRomaniacy's corner Sune Åkesson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Leme quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's Franciszek Ludwa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yiğit Pekiner narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Franciszek Ludwa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yiğit Pekiner. Luís Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandez Pizaño in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogumil Absolwent during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Bogumil Absolwent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes RealMadrid Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Morales. Luís Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandez Pizaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franciszek Ludwa made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Fernandez Pizaño came free, but Luís Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, RealMadrid Club de Fútbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Ola Ek to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's zone, Fernandez Pizaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandez Pizaño in the 69th minute of play. Yiğit Pekiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Morales in the 75th minute. RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's Luís Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Kornatowski in the 77th minute of play. TEATRomaniacy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sune Åkesson in the 78th minute. The corner ended in Sune Åkesson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but RealMadrid Club de Fútbol's Luís Leme did a great save. Sune Åkesson's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Luís Leme - 2-1 was put on the score board in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the RealMadrid Club de Fútbol defense, Fernandez Pizaño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Leme. The RealMadrid Club de Fútbol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Leme should have stopped the shot. After 93 played minutes RealMadrid Club de Fútbol got a freekick which was hit by Tasos Kareklidis. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TEATRomaniacy had won after a very even match.
