Leszek Falke struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. András Erdélyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zielonka Gdansk. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiu Ling Lang in the 20th minute of play forced Mszczyczyn's goalkeeper András Erdélyi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mszczyczyn's goalkeeper András Erdélyi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leszek Falke. 27 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Devlet İşcan came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zielonka Gdansk's Jan Tomaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Kicia in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Leszek Falke could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which András Erdélyi however easily saved by the left post. Mikolaj Kicia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zielonka Gdansk's Qiu Ling Lang got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. András Erdélyi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leszek Falke in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg András Erdélyi managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Zielonka Gdansk's Leszek Falke fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jan Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Zielonka Gdansk players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mszczyczyn were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Leszek Falke made the kick off in the second half.
