Jan Tomaszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wang Hong Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute of the match, Cyprian Sitko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radomir Domaradzki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 17th minute Cyprian Sitko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Domaradzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Hong Le came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Domaradzki made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Gottfrid Asklöv sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Ekskluzywni menele getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Philippe Albert hit a great ball. Ekskluzywni menele's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jean Dantas in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Ekskluzywni menele's corner Klement Kilar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Tomaszewski quite easily take care of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Wang Hong Le came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekskluzywni menele's Radomir Domaradzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Ekskluzywni menele from getting a goal against them. Leszek Falke's late challenge caught a Ekskluzywni menele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Falke helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zielonka Gdansk's Leszek Falke got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wang Hong Le in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Ekskluzywni menele were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jan Tomaszewski was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Wang Hong Le capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wang Hong Le really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Radomir Domaradzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyprian Sitko, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Leszek Falke sped through Ekskluzywni menele's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radomir Domaradzki. Wang Hong Le might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Tomaszewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wang Hong Le ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wang Hong Le in the 63rd minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Zielonka Gdansk's zone, Wang Hong Le stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Tomaszewski came out of the goal and Wang Hong Le tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ekskluzywni menele's Iwo Glik was substituted for Klement Kilar. Jan Tomaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Ogrodowicz in the 76th minute of the match. The corner led to Ekskluzywni menele's Iwo Glik getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 81st match minute, Ekskluzywni menele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yılmaz Dönmez to maneuver through the defense. Zielonka Gdansk made a substitution. Kryspin Puchlik replaced Wasyl Lewicki. The throw-in from Mariusz Flis in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ekskluzywni menele's Tytus Jajesniak. In the 89th minute, Iwo Glik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Zenon Ogrodowicz came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ekskluzywni menele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenon Ogrodowicz couldn't finish the play. Iwo Glik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 95 minutes into the match, Zielonka Gdansk's goal looked a bit too open when Zenon Ogrodowicz came free, but Jan Tomaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ekskluzywni menele supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ekskluzywni menele would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
