Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Wieslaw Dec successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Santiago Mele didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristinel Iurea went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Wawrzyniec Kissel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wieslaw Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goal looked a bit too open when Maarten De Malier came free, but Santiago Mele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Mele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawrzyniec Kissel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yolo were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Silva took the corner. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten De Malier in the 36th minute of play. Jaroslav Nechvátal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wieslaw Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yolo's Maarten De Malier got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After 51 minutes, Marquinhos Rosado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ and the Yolo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Marquinhos Rosado got a free kick in the 52nd minute. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maarten De Malier in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's Santiago Mele got control of the ball when Wawrzyniec Kissel tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yolo's Wawrzyniec Kissel in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Wieslaw Dec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Soner Özarkın, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Rosado notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Yolo's Wieslaw Dec. Wieslaw Dec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's goalkeeper Santiago Mele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristinel Iurea. A nice corner shot did that André Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Santiago Mele quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wieslaw Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Rosado in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Patricio Raebert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Mele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Cristinel Iurea got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 96th minute of the match, Wawrzyniec Kissel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Santiago Mele was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yolo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
