Mikolaj Kicia scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santiago Mele, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Devlet İşcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Santiago Mele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Pietrowicz in the 88th minute of the match. Cyprian Pusiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Mele having to interfere. Jaroslav Nechvátal hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Santiago Mele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikolaj Kicia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Devlet İşcan scored to the left of an out of position Santiago Mele, making the score, 1-8. When the final whistle sounded Mszczyczyn left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than WIDZEW ŁÓDŹ.
