Spectators: 155 (Terracing: 117, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dominik Barowicz came free with the goalkeeper in the 6th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mikolaj Jerzyk could save by the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Thomas Vollmar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Golaszewski. Piast Leszczyny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomas Vollmar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Newcastle United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacy Petka was slow to take the kick. During this time Piast Leszczyny's players had a chance to rest. In the 16th minute Thomas Vollmar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Golaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes Newcastle United got a freekick which was hit by Adam Pacholewski. Zé Paulo Zonta's late challenge caught a Piast Leszczyny's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. Mikolaj Jerzyk was a little too slow when Dominik Barowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Dominik Barowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piast Leszczyny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Barowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Obuchowicz to maneuver through the defense. Piast Leszczyny's Ignacy Petka got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kajetan Kochniarczyk hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 51st minute, Dominik Barowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Piast Leszczyny's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Vollmar came free, but Ryszard Golaszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Vollmar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ryszard Golaszewski made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Dominik Barowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Newcastle United made a substitution. Benedykt Gdaniec replaced Tadeusz Pstrongowski. In the 65th minute Olgierd Szkaradek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piast Leszczyny's Aureliusz Tylenda was substituted for Krzysztof Gizynski. Piast Leszczyny's Dawid Szotek was substituted for Beniamin Golembiewski. Piast Leszczyny's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feliks Pasterski in the 67th minute. A nice corner shot did that Aureliusz Tylenda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mikolaj Jerzyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mikolaj Jerzyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Pasterski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Dominik Barowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ryszard Golaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominik Barowicz in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikolaj Jerzyk saved Newcastle United from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Szkaradek in the 83rd minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Dawid Szotek came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Piast Leszczyny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dawid Szotek couldn't finish the play. Piast Leszczyny were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Newcastle United for a fine match.
