Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janick Jegindø in the 8th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Janick Jegindø made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. Newcastle United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Vollmar in the 11th minute of play forced F. C. Clonmels Devils's goalkeeper Andrea Sabatini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iacob Stătescu to make the kick off.
