Marcin Osikowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcin Osikowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Cyryl Zielinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franciszek Marud took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiburcio Jakue. Veth Crystals's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Veth Crystals's Tiburcio Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Corderun in the 26th minute of play. Veth Crystals's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Cosimo Staniscia scored to the left of an out of position Tiburcio Jakue, making the score, 1-1. Marcin Osikowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gwidon Patora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Jakue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosimo Staniscia in the 36th minute. With an all-out effort, LKS Sieraków ŚL's Tiburcio Jakue threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zé Roberto Trevisan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, LKS Sieraków ŚL's Waldemar Bury got a free kick in the 41st minute. The Veth Crystals fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Veth Crystals's Andrea Casals looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 46 minutes into the match, Veth Crystals's goal looked a bit too open when Cosimo Staniscia came free, but Tiburcio Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Corderun made a kick off. Naldo Paiva hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Liu Zhi Guang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Marcin Osikowicz made a huge save. Zé Roberto Trevisan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 59th minute of play forced LKS Sieraków ŚL's goalkeeper Marcin Osikowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Veth Crystals's Andrea Casals nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcin Osikowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Veth Crystals made a substitution. Florian Ciempa replaced Andrea Casals. Marcin Osikowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 70th minute of play. Marcin Osikowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gwidon Patora's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Franciszek Marud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Tiburcio Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcin Osikowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwidon Patora, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of LKS Sieraków ŚL booed when Veth Crystals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Loramendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Roberto Trevisan hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Veth Crystals eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
