Iwan Cieliczka might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Izydor Pietrasz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iwan Cieliczka ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustaw Faron's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Izydor Pietrasz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute of the match FC Zurich got a corner. After taking down the ball on FC Zurich's corner Angel Panagonov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Izydor Pietrasz quite easily take care of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Stal Rzeszów players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
