When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Artur Spychalski put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Izydor Pietrasz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Bartelak got free with Izydor Pietrasz in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute Artur Spychalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Pietrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Myszków SSA were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Stal Rzeszów side.
