Klement Bara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 7th minute of play. Klement Bara was a little too slow when Ömer Halisdemir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when Rokita Brzeg Dolny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wladyslaw Dytrych didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's Klement Bara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Rokita Brzeg Dolny from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Rokita Brzeg Dolny got a freekick which was hit by Wladyslaw Dytrych. Klement Bara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Klawke, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a corner. Rokita Brzeg Dolny's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Karl-Åke Lindström ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Karl-Åke Lindström to fire away a dangerous shot which Klement Bara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ömer Halisdemir came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Klement Bara could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ömer Halisdemir got free with Klement Bara in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ömer Halisdemir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Klement Bara. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Klement Bara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valērijs Bensons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Dec having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Felenak came free, but Kajetan Dec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ömer Halisdemir to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Ömer Halisdemir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Klement Bara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Felenak in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Karl-Åke Lindström got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Kajetan Dec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Domin in the 64th minute. When Ömer Halisdemir came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ömer Halisdemir couldn't finish the play. Rokita Brzeg Dolny made a substitution.
