Jaroslaw Siedlecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliks Bronder in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Feliks Bronder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MZ Wodzisław Śląski's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliks Bronder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Ömer Halisdemir nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaroslaw Siedlecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Ömer Halisdemir notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki. Jaroslaw Siedlecki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliks Bronder in the 26th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ömer Halisdemir struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jaroslaw Siedlecki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zawisza Bydgoszcz. After 46 played minutes MZ Wodzisław Śląski got a freekick which was hit by Borja Yebra. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Kajetan Dec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Perkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. A collision led to MZ Wodzisław Śląski getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Radomir Marud hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Radomir Marud in the 67th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Sebastian Klawke. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by MZ Wodzisław Śląski's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Karl-Åke Lindström was slow to take the kick. During this time Zawisza Bydgoszcz's players had a chance to rest. Karl-Åke Lindström made a great header on Zawisza Bydgoszcz's corner, it was just that MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki managed to reach the ball for a save. Radomir Marud kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Zawisza Bydgoszcz made a substitution. La Škarpa replaced Ömer Halisdemir. The supporters of Zawisza Bydgoszcz booed when MZ Wodzisław Śląski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radomir Marud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Klawke kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zawisza Bydgoszcz had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
