The audience was convinced that Kacper Hazard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 13th minute of the match, Marko Vooro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki got control of the ball when Sixten Bokelund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sparta LKS were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after MZ Wodzisław Śląski's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lech Glozor took the corner. 19 minutes into the match, MZ Wodzisław Śląski's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Vooro came free, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaroslaw Siedlecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Gargasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaroslaw Siedlecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sixten Bokelund in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sixten Bokelund got free with Jaroslaw Siedlecki in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Olszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Pochorylo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Jaroslaw Siedlecki successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Sparta LKS's goal looked a bit too open when Mikolaj Perkowski came free, but Grzegorz Olszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Bronder took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Olszewski. Grzegorz Olszewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jaroslaw Siedlecki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Vooro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Sixten Bokelund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslaw Siedlecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, one of MZ Wodzisław Śląski:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MZ Wodzisław Śląski. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, Sparta LKS's Lech Glozor got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jaroslaw Siedlecki. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stanislaw Gargasz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jaroslaw Siedlecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Vooro in the 51st minute of play. Lech Glozor made a great header on Sparta LKS's corner, it was just that MZ Wodzisław Śląski's Jaroslaw Siedlecki managed to reach the ball for a save. The Sparta LKS fans cheered their team off the field, for while MZ Wodzisław Śląski had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
