FC Wieliczka's Mieszko Wielgopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Sârban in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Nistor Sârban notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Wieliczka's Mieszko Wielgopolski. Mieszko Wielgopolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Rega Merida CF fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 42 played minutes FC Wieliczka got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Solarek. Nistor Sârban might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mieszko Wielgopolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nistor Sârban ran back to his position shaking his head. Mieszko Wielgopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nistor Sârban in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 73 minutes of play, Rega Merida CF's Konrad Knopek made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mieszko Wielgopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Knopek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Konrad Knopek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rega Merida CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Knopek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mieszko Wielgopolski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konrad Knopek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Rega Merida CF's Mieszko Wielgopolski threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Konrad Knopek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
