Tadeusz Brataniec started the match with the kick off. Dariusz Smuskiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Izydor Ludwa made a huge save. With a little luck, Red Army's Izydor Ludwa got control of the ball when Dariusz Smuskiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Witold Wyrzykowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ATLAS Mysłowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Wyrzykowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Izydor Ludwa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dariusz Smuskiewicz went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Izydor Ludwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Waldoch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Red Army's Izydor Ludwa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. Izydor Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Smuskiewicz in the 19th minute of play. Jerônimo Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Okopny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Radomir Waldoch came free, but Izydor Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radomir Waldoch scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izydor Ludwa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Smuskiewicz in the 30th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Izydor Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Army's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Dariusz Smuskiewicz scored to the left of an out of position Izydor Ludwa, making the score, 3-0. In the 34th match minute, Red Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeusz Brataniec to maneuver through the defense. Red Army's Izydor Ludwa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Red Army from getting a goal against them. Radomir Waldoch scored 4-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Izydor Ludwa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the game, Dariusz Smuskiewicz lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Izydor Ludwa.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomir Waldoch to strike the kick off in the second half. If Radomir Waldoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Izydor Ludwa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ATLAS Mysłowice getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pankracy Liberko hit a great ball. If Radomir Waldoch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Izydor Ludwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Cearense in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Smuskiewicz came free, but Izydor Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Waldoch in the 66th minute of play forced Red Army's goalkeeper Izydor Ludwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute of the match ATLAS Mysłowice got a corner. Red Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dariusz Smuskiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Witold Wyrzykowski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Izydor Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Waldoch in the 69th minute of play. Piotr Pleban charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Pleban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ATLAS Mysłowice booed when Red Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piotr Pleban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, ATLAS Mysłowice's Dariusz Smuskiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izydor Ludwa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Izydor Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Waldoch in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Dariusz Smuskiewicz came free, but Izydor Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes Red Army's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dariusz Smuskiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Izydor Ludwa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olaf Osikowicz in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Örjan Vestlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Dariusz Smuskiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Izydor Ludwa was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Radomir Waldoch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jaroslaw Gabis fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Army's protests and gave Jaroslaw Gabis a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Red Army getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jaroslaw Gabis hit a great ball. In the 93rd minute Radomir Waldoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izydor Ludwa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Red Army's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Wyrzykowski came free, but Izydor Ludwa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Izydor Ludwa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Wyrzykowski in the 96th minute of play. ATLAS Mysłowice's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
