Arsenal's Giotis Kourmouzis got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lukasz Bronder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meelis Vananurm having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Justin came free, but Gunnar Taevere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunnar Taevere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Justin in the 23rd minute of the match. Arsenal's Gunnar Taevere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lindi Mena in the 26th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Erubiel Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Taevere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Justin made a kick off. Erubiel Justin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Gunnar Taevere skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Meelis Vananurm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giotis Kourmouzis in the 53rd minute of play. Marcelo Abreu struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gunnar Taevere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź. After 58 minutes of play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Erubiel Justin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Taevere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Meelis Vananurm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Marcelo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Taevere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meelis Vananurm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Pimentel in the 66th minute of the match. Meelis Vananurm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Pimentel went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindi Mena in the 77th minute of play forced Arsenal's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Meelis Vananurm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radoslaw Babicki's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giotis Kourmouzis in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Meelis Vananurm saved ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Pimentel came free, but Meelis Vananurm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź got a freekick which was hit by Jeroen Heerckes. In the 92nd minute Lucas Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meelis Vananurm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
