JUNICO Ełk's Eugeniusz Sochacki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Faron in the 13th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Giotis Kourmouzis sped through JUNICO Ełk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugeniusz Sochacki. In the 17th minute, Lukasz Bronder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugeniusz Sochacki was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Eugeniusz Sochacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Arsenal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giotis Kourmouzis in the 21st minute. Eugeniusz Sochacki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukasz Bronder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Arsenal's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yu Hui Peng. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zbigniew Orling during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vincent Fanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugeniusz Sochacki having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind JUNICO Ełk's goalkeeper Eugeniusz Sochacki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee showed Yu Hui Peng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabe Odon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Arsenal! Arsenal:s Gunnar Taevere showed great skill when he stopped Zbigniew Orling:s penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zbigniew Orling to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Arsenal booed when JUNICO Ełk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fryderyk Golota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gunnar Taevere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Orling in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match JUNICO Ełk got a corner. Arsenal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tanek Liermann ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lukasz Bronder struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Eugeniusz Sochacki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arsenal. JUNICO Ełk's Teofil Mirowski was substituted for Yu Hui Peng. JUNICO Ełk made a substitution. João Félix replaced Zbigniew Orling. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artur Faron during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gunnar Taevere dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Arsenal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
