Roger Short breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KS Tęcza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogumil Witek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roger Short didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Andreoli went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Andreoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zula Bielatowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Roger Short made a huge save. After some careless play in the KS Tęcza defense, Zula Bielatowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Short. The KS Tęcza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Short should have stopped the shot. Roger Short made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ksawery Czajka in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Fabiano Andreoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Short saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the KS Tęcza defense, Ksawery Czajka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Short. The KS Tęcza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Short should have stopped the shot. When Radomir Fetor came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the JKS Czarni 1910 Jaslo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomir Fetor couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Zula Bielatowicz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Roger Short was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Andreoli in the 61st minute of play forced KS Tęcza's goalkeeper Roger Short to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogumil Witek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Primus Muzakki made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zula Bielatowicz in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roger Short prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 70th minute, Günther Haslbeck left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JKS Czarni 1910 Jaslo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Roger Short took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zula Bielatowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, JKS Czarni 1910 Jaslo's Radomir Fetor made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Short was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Fabiano Andreoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patryk Witek kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Roger Short made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Andreoli in the 88th minute of play.
