Radomiak Radom:s Hieronim Mentis showed great skill when he stopped Ebi Smolarek:s penalty. Hieronim Mentis came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's Ebi Smolarek. But to his dismay, Ebi Smolarek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juraj Broz in the 8th minute of play forced BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eurico Fernandez in the 18th minute of play forced BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's goalkeeper Artur Boruc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Boruc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Wnukowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Juraj Broz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Boruc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hieronim Mentis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniil Kondratiev in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Cristiano Mbappè cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Artur Boruc was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szymon Klose was the one to do the kick off. Mieszko Pietrasz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Radomiak Radom booed when BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Handoko Basuki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eurico Fernandez in the 57th minute. After 68 minutes of play, Radomiak Radom's Juraj Broz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Artur Boruc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artur Boruc made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Eurico Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Norbert Karanowski charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Karanowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Szymon Klose scored 2-2 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hieronim Mentis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristiano Mbappè fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Boruc having to interfere. Artur Boruc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Wnukowski in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój's goalkeeper Artur Boruc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juraj Broz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Casper Rydelius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radomiak Radom's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój the free kick. The supporters of BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój booed when Radomiak Radom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Rydelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Szymon Klose had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hieronim Mentis. Radomiak Radom's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szymon Klose was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. The BVB Borussia Solec Zdrój support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
