The supporters of Los Merengues booed when F♣U♥RI♣A♥T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bambang Bamba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulryk Tylenda made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Bambang Bamba sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Los Merengues booed when F♣U♥RI♣A♥T was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wincent Kaminski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Bambang Bamba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulryk Tylenda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bambang Bamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Granberg in the 27th minute of play forced F♣U♥RI♣A♥T's goalkeeper Leonard Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Granberg charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommy Granberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Los Merengues getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tommy Granberg hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Bambang Bamba could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Ulryk Tylenda however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Granberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Bambang Bamba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ulryk Tylenda. Los Merengues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bambang Bamba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 59 minutes into the match, F♣U♥RI♣A♥T's goalkeeper Leonard Wojtyna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tommy Granberg. If Bambang Bamba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Tommy Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Wojtyna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonard Wojtyna was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Tommy Granberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Granberg really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. If Tommy Granberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iwo Kuszczak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. Los Merengues's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some careless play in the Los Merengues defense, Bambang Bamba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulryk Tylenda. The Los Merengues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulryk Tylenda should have stopped the shot. Los Merengues's Tomasz Latocha was substituted for Teobald Chrobak. Los Merengues made a substitution. Jedrzej Gdowik replaced Roch Chowaniec. Czeslaw Ryback kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bambang Bamba in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulryk Tylenda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. F♣U♥RI♣A♥T were victorious despite being under pressure from Los Merengues for much of the match.
