STAL ST WOLA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Cannavaro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Çağlar Soyuncu got free with Marioara Matei in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Moisés Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Esposito went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Wim Oosterman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. STAL ST WOLA's Moisés Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Esposito in the 31st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gustaw Bendyk in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s Martinez Feloaga. Marioara Matei made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Zygmunt Bielejewski sent off a good shot on target. Gustaw Bendyk hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 56th minute, Boleslaw Nakoneczny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eric Esposito in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moisés Novaes saved STAL ST WOLA from getting behind. In the 63rd minute Boleslaw Nakoneczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marioara Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Eric Esposito managed to get in a good position for a shot. O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Esposito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Moisés Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Bendyk hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Boleslaw Nakoneczny charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
