Dominik Kornatowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gonçalo Catarinense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominik Kornatowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. The corner led Sparta Torex's Czeslaw Karwowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Kryspin Cwynar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute Artur Iglesias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Kornatowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sparta Torex's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sosnowe Klimaty the free kick. Dominik Kornatowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Man in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominik Kornatowski made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Sérgio Monteiro sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sosnowe Klimaty walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
