After 9 played minutes ACR SA got a freekick which was hit by Waclaw Dranka. ACR SA's Roch Olchawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Viator in the 11th minute of play. Zorko Hendrickx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Budzynski having to interfere. Roch Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 27 minutes, Zorko Hendrickx made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Autolycus's Fryderyk Budzynski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Zorko Hendrickx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Budzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute of the match ACR SA got a corner. FC Autolycus's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zorko Hendrickx ran over to the corner to take the kick. ACR SA's Zorko Hendrickx was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fryderyk Budzynski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When FC Autolycus's Pablo Viator in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ACR SA's goalie prevented a goal. Fred-Marc Firmino's late challenge caught a FC Autolycus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred-Marc Firmino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Autolycus booed when ACR SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred-Marc Firmino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Lichniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roch Olchawa. Pablo Viator ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Roch Olchawa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
