Edward Hajto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Rosen in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Eneko came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Rosen in the 15th minute of play forced Faker FC's goalkeeper Edward Hajto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KKS Magines's Julian Trzenzalski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save KKS Magines from getting a goal against them. 18 minutes into the game, Waldemar Markowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edward Hajto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute of the match, Klement Cieslak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julian Trzenzalski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Klement Cieslak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Julian Trzenzalski made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Milosz Wolnik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Trzenzalski was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. With a little luck, KKS Magines's Julian Trzenzalski got control of the ball when Maciej Cichocki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faker FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldemar Markowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roman Rosen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Edward Hajto made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Wincent Zecman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
