An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Piatek in the 15th minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Esteban Beti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Tomasz Zalipski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Filanowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Real Madrid's Esteban Beti. Esteban Beti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 23 played minutes Real Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Buczko. After a rather tough play, Tomitak Wrocław's Bogdan Piatek got a free kick in the 26th minute. Esteban Beti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomasz Zalipski in the 28th minute of play. Zbigniew Buczko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lookman Loody made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Klement Glembin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomitak Wrocław's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Glembin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteban Beti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Real Madrid's Esteban Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Motyl in the 33rd minute of play. Lookman Loody took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Seng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariusz Motyl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Juliusz Sala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateusz Heide kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Esteban Beti made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tomasz Zalipski sent off a good shot on target. Eugeniusz Tyskie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteban Beti having to make a save. Real Madrid's Gwidon Czeszyk was substituted for Beniamin Krzynowek. After having played for 72 minutes, Bogdan Piatek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomitak Wrocław's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Piatek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Zbigniew Buczko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tomitak Wrocław's Lookman Loody was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Zbigniew Buczko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lookman Loody was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Lookman Loody showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex França, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugeniusz Tyskie in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteban Beti saved Real Madrid from getting behind. Eugeniusz Tyskie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Beti having to interfere.
