Ryszard Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikolaj Filanowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes POLONIA BYTOM got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Jarosiewicz. In the 28th minute of the match Klement Glembin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Lerych showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Filanowski in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes POLONIA BYTOM got a freekick which was hit by Mateusz Damazki. When Izydor Jarosiewicz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored POLONIA BYTOM's protests and gave Izydor Jarosiewicz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tomitak Wrocław booed when POLONIA BYTOM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Izydor Jarosiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Klement Glembin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ryszard Lerych showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tanek Gorzkiewicz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Ulryk Hyska fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tomitak Wrocław's protests and gave Ulryk Hyska a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Tomitak Wrocław was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulryk Hyska to maneuver through the defense. POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikolaj Filanowski in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mateusz Damazki made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, POLONIA BYTOM's Juliusz Kociniewski got a free kick in the 71st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugeniusz Tyskie got free with Ryszard Lerych in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute Eugeniusz Tyskie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Lerych saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82ndth minute of the game Eugeniusz Tyskie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but POLONIA BYTOM's Ryszard Lerych was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tomitak Wrocław's Eugeniusz Tyskie in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Eugeniusz Tyskie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Tomitak Wrocław's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 95th match minute, POLONIA BYTOM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Gabis to maneuver through the defense. The Tomitak Wrocław players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
